PASTOR MYRON PELOTE EDMONDS BIOGRAPHY

Pastor Edmonds was born to Pastor & Mrs. Ronald Edmonds in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He attended Seventh-day Adventist elementary schools in New Jersey and Washington DC. He graduated from Pine Forge Academy in 1995.

Pastor Edmonds responded to the call to the gospel ministry while a student at Oakwood College, in Huntsville, Alabama through the inspiration of a conversation with the late Dr. E.E. Cleveland. He graduated from Oakwood College in 1999 with a B.A. in Theology and continued his academic growth at Andrews University completing his Masters of Divinity in 2001. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Andrews Theological Seminary with a concentration in Family Ministries. His dissertation project research deals with the role and absence of African-American men as Spiritual Leaders.

Pastor MyRon Pelote Edmonds is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Dr. Shanee’ Arthurs of Cleveland, OH. She is a practicing dentist. They are the parents of 6 year old daughter, Teylor and a 4 year old son, Camden.

His pastoral experience began with distinction as the associate pastor to Pastor Benjamin Jones of the historic First SDA Church of Huntsville, AL. He was then called to the 3 church district of Franklin, Shelbyville and Murfreesboro, TN. Each year as God blessed his administrative and evangelistic efforts growing each church to the point that the Conference saw fit to make him the sole pastor of the growing Oaklands Park SDA Church of Murfreesboro, TN where he has pastored with innovatively and exceptionally for 6 years.

Pastor Edmonds’ is passionate about preaching and leading people to Jesus Christ. His motto in life is Matt 6:33. “But seek first the kingdom of heaven, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
